This is very frustrating. I want to change the name of my ride. The instructions do not help. I click My Rides at the very top menu. Then I click Edit under ACTIONS next to the ride I want to edit.

The very limited instructions say "First edit your Route Map below by clicking on the map and by moving the points around" . I don't want to move anything around. I just want to change the name of the ride.

The next instruction says "Then click the 'Update Route' button to continue to the
next step to edit the route's properties
like name, description, etc.
".

OK, so I click the map hoping to make visible the 'Update Route' button. This action adds a point on my may which I do not want. I don't want to add a point to the map. I just want to change the name of the ride. So I click the Undo button in the Info & Tools panel.

The next instruction says "To change the name, make the route public or private, edit the description, etc., click on
'Update Route' on the Edit Map Toolbar.
" Well... the isn't a Edit Map Toolbar. Believe me, I've looked - real hard.

There are 3 red panels on the right. The only toolbar has 'Save Route', 'Log Workout', 'Tools', 'Settings', 'Help'. Nothing says "Edit Map".

How is my task done please?

I pull up a route I have saved, and then choose the "Save Route" button on upper left and choose "Save As". You will end up with both maps in your "My Rides" section. You can then delete the old map with the old name.

I'm able to change a route name by doing the save as, what I'm not able to do is easily edit a route. The couple times I've tried I'm faced with dragging about 100 map points to create a reroute. Waaaay too much trouble and work, and I've usually screwed it up.

The delete map points before/after active point doesnt really help when you're trying to reroute down a few different roads in the middle of a saved route.

I find it's simply easiest to remap the whole damn thing.
