If you want to give it a go yourself I'd imagine there are instructions on the net that would guide you reasonably well.
The other option is to have a shop do it... wheel truing isn't insanely difficult, but it does require a little background info and a spoke wrench... doing it well usually requires some practice.
slight wobble = no major problems.
If it's 45min to your local bike shop i'd be purchasing a spoke key and asking nicely at the shop if they could give you a quick demo.
it's not too hard. tighten the spokes on one side, loosen on the other to bring the warp back to true. having said 'it's not to hard' i always have confuse which way i'm supposed to turn the spoke nipple and it takes a while to get the warp back to true. perserverance will pay off.
If the wobble is slight you may well be ok for the moment... but I'd probably get a spoke wrench and get to work ASAP (I wouldn't have suggested a shop had I known it's that much of a hike to the nearest one). You'll probably need a little more explanation as to how the truing process works:
As it so happens, Park Tool has some instructions on their website... you can do a search there, or perhaps this link will work.

and don't forget to do stress-relief on your spokes!
Thank you guys very much! I will still go up to the bike store but hopfully for the last time with a bent rim!
thanks again
