Cycling Gear: 2009 Schwinn Fastback

    I recently purchased a 2009 Schwinn Fastback for riding around school but I'd like to get into longer rides, my question is does anyone have any experience with this line of bikes? Are they good/bad should have gotten something else for an entry-level road bike?

    The Schwinn brand has been around for a long time. Since you said your just starting and understand its an entry level ride...well one step above the cheap big box stores bike, you probably made an excellent pick for yourself. One day if you take to the longer rides and such, you may out grow what this bike offers. But bang for the buck, its not a bad choice. Since its new and if you take off, upgrades are always an option as your needs increase. Happy riding.....
