Help!: Very slow page loads when mapping a route

    I like being very zoomed in too.  I find the page gets slower as the route gets longer.  I'm not sure how much is done server-side and how much is processed on your computer, but I have never had it freeze on my computer.  It could be due to either your computer not being able to handle a longer route or a slower internet connection.

    In general, Mikey is right about the speed of your computer and internet connection.  However, there are some tips that can improve your speed.  Specifically, in our testing, the best improvemet you can make with performance while mapping a run is to switch to the Firefox web browser if you haven't already done so.  Compared to Internet Explorer, for example, the performance improvement is dramatic.  You can download firefox for free from http://www.getfirefox.com.  I hope this helps.
