Hi,
I've enjoyed reading this forum very much and hope you all can help me. Periodically the skin at the ball of my feet, the outer edge of the feet and both base of toes and edge of toes near nails will peel. There is no pain or discomfort, it's not athlete's foot or friction blisters. I'm glad this is not adversely affecting my running but I am curious if anyone else experiences this as I've done a few internet searches and have not found information related.
I wear double-layer socks by Wright Socks and quality shoes. I run at least 4 days a week and try for daily runs with an average mileage of 3-4 miles.
If anyone has any ideas, I'd love to hear them. Thanks!

Common problem...
Your feet take a beating running that much. I run 4-5 days per week (30-50 miles) and get skin peeling, nails turning black, etc..... I know others have nailsfall off... thus don't worry too much Aquaphor http://www.aquaphoruses.com/?f=adwords makes a great product, put it on your feet at night and wear socks over them to bed... that helps
good luck
