I have saved a map for this Saturday's run.  We start right before mile marker 4.5 at another park/parking trail head.  Depending on the weather, I may not be able to run this prior to Saturday.  But it should be fine.  You can either run from 4.5 to mile marker 7.5 as the map has marked.  Or- if you are running the Lenexa 5K or 10K this would be your long run for the week.  Saturday- we can do a recovery run with a shorter distance.  Let me know what your plans are for this week.  I am going to start picking one person to track each Saturday.  It is to difficult to spend time with everyone at the different paces.  So I will do my long run separately, and modify my run for whoever I will be with this Saturday.  Since I run Friday with Stacy and Susan... we will all be in recovery mode on Saturday and I will split my time between them.  See you soon!  Wednesday is gong to be hot! so make it a cross training day!  julie

Check out the Asics run 100 miles in a month challenge.  I entered our group in this contest.  I know it is lofty...  but!  if we meet the goal we are entered for prizes!!!  j

I am going out of town this weekend (totally forgot to tell you on Saturday) so I will be at the 5k but I won't be there on Saturday.

Congratulations Stacy and Susan for completing the Lenexa Freedom Run-  Susan competed her first ever 5K!  And to Stacy- great job pushing yourself and choosing the 10K!  YEAH!

RE: the 100 mile challenge, I might be able to do that, I'm already up to almost 26 miles since July 1. I'll check that out.

I'm really glad it seems the Satuday runs are on the Streamway trails, I'm familiar  with most of the trail from Nelson Island south to SMP.
