We're happy to announce that users of the distancemeter application on the iPhone 3G can now upload their workout data to MapMyFitness.  Check it out!

What about an application similiar to this for any GPS enable windows capable phone. Surely this could be modified to let everyone else with a phone have the same convenience without way too much effort.

The iphone program is not ready for prime time.  Mine is locked in a loop that requests input, then quits.  No chance for selection or user input on what he wants to do.  It seems to be written only from control center perspective.

I upload my workout and select bike, but everytime the training log shows I added a run and the log entry needs to be changed. Using IPhone 3G. Also, I have found that the GPS function will reduce the mileage significantly because the map shows me going thru parks etc and not on roads. Jim Horn

I agree with RunByMe, mine is also locked in this crazy loop! Very disappointing indeed.

Generally I've enjoyed using it on my run, but right now I'm pissed.  I had about an hour run on a new coarse and when I went to save it I keep getting a save error and no matter how many times I retried saving it or walking to another location, it wouldn't.  So I canceled it and now the run isn't anywhere, it's gone.  It's not the first time the error has occurred but the other time it eventually saved.  Maybe I am doing something wrong, but if I can't figure it out I will never use it again.  There are some positive aspects to the system, but right now I'm to pissed to tell you about them.
