Runner's Forum: Organizing Charity Run in Michigan - Need advice

    My wife and I would like to try and organize a charity run to raise money for the family of the Michigan police officer who died while running the Chicago Marathon.  Has anyone ever organized a race before?  Looking for advice on general organization, sponsorship and anything else that we would need to do.

    Hi Jeff,

    How did everything go?  Were you able to have a successful charity run for the Michigan family you were trying to help? My team and I also racking our brains trying come up with fun ideas to raise funds for charity.
