    I recommend the nike waffle. Only because it is light, and cheap. They are not great shoes; but they are very practical. Also, as a freshman in high school, many of your competitors will be wearing them. Cheack out www.eastbay.com they carry plenty of discounted shoes.

    the nike zoom air kennedys are a great track spike. there very light and great for the mile

    try the new Nike Lunar Racers. I have a pair of the trainers and they are an incredible shoe. Let us know which ones you choose and how they are working out for you.
