The ride up and down Gates Pass is not for beginners and should not be ridden alone. 6% or higher grades up one side and 7% or better on the other. Rode this in the clockwise direction. Most of the rest of the ride was relatively flat except McCain Loop which has some rollers and some hills to keep up strength training.
