Once there, you can hit the bathrooms at the visitor center, get water, and prepare yourself for the return trip. <br> On the return route, save some energy for the last 11 miles on N. San Gabriel Road. It features some good uphills, and you are typically fighting a strong headwind that is coming up the canyon. <br> <br> NOTE: Park in the lot at Encanto Park. There are bathrooms there, but they don't open until 9:00AM. Just south of the lot is a path that crosses the river gourge. Head north about 3 miles on the bike path to get onto N.
