Best route to cross the Madd river. Never cross @ the 101, this is a great flat and safe route to and from Hammond trail from Eureka area. Things get a bit tight on the section of road from Mckinleyville to Fieldbrook, suggest experienced riders only as it is very narrow, but lightly used.
