location: Buffalo, New York distance: 102.71 mi. | Route Type: Bike Ride Tags: Back Country, Beach, Canal Towpath, Century, City, Lake, Long Distance, Low Traffic Area, Residential Area, River, Rural, Scenic, Some Trail, Trail, Waterfront created by: description: Starting in Buffalo, crosses to Fort Erie Canada, follows the beautiful Niagara Parkway in to Niagara Falls, then to Niagara-On-The-Lake, then to the Welland Canal and down the canal to Welland, then Port Colbourne, then past Sherkston and Crystal Beach back to Fort Erie and then Buffalo. Supposedly there are some fantastic bike trails especially in the Port Colbourne to Fort Erie stretch, but as I don't know the locations of those yet, and also in order to stay close to water, I have chosen low-traffic roads instead. The bike trail is likely far from water and would also make the trip less than 100 miles. View | Print | Bookmark | Write a Story | Tell-A-Friend | Send a Message |

location: Buffalo, New York distance: 62.67 mi. | Route Type: Bike Ride created by: description: I think there's a parking lot there - I am trying this route tomorrow. Much of it is borrowed from another route called EA Big 50 or something like that. Lots of challenging hills, not too many sections with a lot of traffic.
