description: Starts in Lynden, is pretty flat with moderate traffic. Once you cross the I-5, traffic dies down and the rid is more scenic with rolling hills. Actually, the scenery starts just outside of Lynden on the Birch Bay-Lynden road with plenty of farms, vineyards and mountains to greet you along the way. Good roads and smooth most of the way. More towards Birch Bay the roads are more narrow with no real bike lane, however the traffic is pretty light and they are used to cyclist as it's pretty popular amongst us.
