Sherwood Forest Center Parcs
If you're at Sherwood Foest Centre Parcs, and you want to do some cycling, then this is a five kilometre ride around the site. It mostly sticks to the roads, but for the off road parts look at the park map shown on their website. The off-road parts on this map correspond to the yellow foot paths on the website map. No traffic other than on departure and arrival days, so it's pretty safe, and mostly flat. Just go slow of the foot paths - you are allowed to ride bikes on them, you just have to be careful of people walking. Here the start point is located by the treehouses, because that was where we are staying, but as it is a loop that runs through nearly all of the zones, you can just choose a start point in your zone.
