Bike Ride Description
One of the few decent loops that can be done from Bozeman, this is an ideal route for triathlon training as it is close to 40 km and strikes the happy medium between being flat & boring vs. too hilly for a tri-bike. Rt. 191 can be very busy in the summer but there is a paved bike path on the eastern side of the road which goes from 0.5 miles north of the S. Cottonwood intersection all the way to Gooch Hill.

This looks like a great loop, we have started from our offices right off Stucky and 19th and looped back from Cottonwood on 19th to avoid Huffine/Main traffic. Might have to give your ride a try!

I alter this loop slightly. I hate riding Huffine even though it has a huge shoulder (feels like riding along the edge of the German autobahn!), so I use Stucky Rd instead, which runs parallel to Huffine, just to the south.
