Bike Ride Description
We didn't want to ride the WHOLE Mt. Vernon trail, so we parked in Alexandria (plenty of street parking) and followed the trail from there. The southern part of the trail is much more scenic (as far as natural scenery) than the northern part as well. Opportunities for breaks and snacks in Mt. Vernon, as well as in Old Town on Return.
