'By eck that war ard' ride aimed at people who want to do 100 miles This takes the same route as the 30 ml and 60 ml until splitting at Knayton. There it starts to climb up towards Felixkirk on beautiful twisting lanes giving spectacular views across the vale of York and over towards Kilburn. Also passing through the lovely named Sutton under Whitestonecliffe. You may recognise this from the Tour de Yorkshire, at the foot of Sutton Bank (before you panic we don't go up there). As we approach Kilburn there is a fantastic view of the white horse up to the left on the hillside. Kilburn is the second feed stop which is in the yard of the famous 'Mousey Thompson' bespoke oak furniture makers whose signature is a carved mouse on each piece. Both routes swing round under white horse bank through Olstead and onto the stunning Byland Abbey (selfies a must) here routes split, 100 ml goes left, you turn left to wards Ampleforth before you encounter the climb of Beacon Bank, and tackle the Strava segment sponsored by Mountain fuel for which there is a prize for the quickest assent. Its then onwards through several villages towards Crayke feedstation, where Bacon butties await you. From Crayke through more scenic villages along Ouseburn to reaching the iconic bridge at Aldwark. The route flattens out following the course of the river Ure to the market town of Boroughbridge to our final feedstation. Leaving Boroughbridge you will loop out on beautiful country lanes through Roecliffe and Bishop Monkton towards Ripon, where you turn East through picturesque Copt Hewick, Rainton over the river swale at Topcliffe.
