Description of this Bike Ride

You can make a much shorter ride by parking inside the State Park (and paying the fee). We started our ride in Forest Park. Most of the distance along the Tualatin Valley Highway is equipped with a ped/bike path that's separate from the highway. After the path ends you have to ride on the shoulder, but it's relatively wide and paved. The ride through the park is scenic with lots of places to pull off, take pictures, get a snack/drink, etc. The road through the park also has a paved bike lane. We went in the early spring to beat the crowds.
