Gran Fondo Colnago San Diego 2010 - Long Course
This is the marquis route of the 2nd annual Gran Fondo Colnago San Diego, America's first gran fondo bike event. After a dramatic mass start in Little Italy, the route makes a stunning crossing of the Coronado Bridge, then heads south and east to the US Olympic Training Center. From there, riders tackle the infamous Honey Springs climb and compete for King of the Mountain awards. After a beautiful winding loop in the mountainous east county, cyclists return to the coast and the downtown finish line.
