Description of this Bike Ride

This is the first leg of my route to Mt. Wilson. A sheriff was parked at the entrance to the Angeles Forest making sure no one was ignoring that "road closed" sign. At the time, the road was closed due to the earth movers that were moving debris to prevent landslides from the recent fires. Anyway, the main points about this route... Chevy Chase gets pretty steep for a mile and a half, there is a section in Glendale where I have been nearly hit by a car practically every time I have been on this route, and the first section of Angeles Crest Hwy is deceptively steep.
