Description of this Bike Ride

This counter-clockwise route maximizes straight-line distance while minimizes traffic lights and corners, all in a very small area of downtown Toronto. It throws in a few power-climbs to boot. It\\\\'s a good alternative to riding out of the city, especially if the weather looks threatening; I\\\\'m never more than 5km from home at any point on this ride. Except for the turnarounds (there are 5), all the turns are right-hand so they flow with traffic. Note: heading north on the Bayview Extension, you need to detour on the bike-path to avoid the on- and off-ramps.
