Description of this Bike Ride

This is a great little climb that can be done on road, cyclocross or mountain bike. The actual climb is not too long, but it does take time to weave through town to get to the Boulder Creek Path which parallels route 119 on this map. Once you get to the end of the Boulder Creek Path, cross Boulder Canyon and get on to Four Mile Canyon. This will lead to Poorman Rd. Poorman is a dirt road, but is well-traveled and very smooth. Poorman leads over to Sunshine Canyon where you can descend back down to 4th St., or if you are feeling ambitious go west (up) Sunshine Canyon to the town of Gold Hill. It's long steep and turns to dirt, too.
