Gatlinburg to Clingmans Dome
Very difficult climb with 7000 feet of climbing over 35 miles! Start in Gatlinburg with a 5 steep 5 mile climb up Cherokee Orchard Rd. Descend down Roaring Fork Rd back into Gatlinburg. Then, start a climb of 5000 feet over about 20 miles up to Clingman's Dome, the highest point in Tennessee and highest Mt. in the Smokies. (Of course, you get 20 miles of coasting back to town, but not before a chance to see some awesome views of the Mountains) - a 35 mi cycling route in Gatlinburg, Tennessee
