Truly a classic! Start this ride on 8 miles of paved Rail Trail from Victor to Driggs, ID. Turn right in Driggs on Ski Hill road and gently climb toward the Wyoming boarder. After passing through the quaint little village of Alta, WY, begin ascending the switchbacking road that leads up to the Grand Targhee Ski Resort. Pinch yourself as you take in the breathtaking views of the catherdral group of the Teton Mountainsn while pedaling up the perfect sustained grade on buff pavement with very little car traffic. Once at the top, turn around to reap the reward of a perfect descent while once again staring at the Tetons!
