This is one of the 60 mile rides out there that is pretty scenic and not too hard on the legs all in all. Follow the route to Croton Lake used for the Somers and even route to Bear Moutain. However at the top of Croton, you take a right toward Y Heights and rejoin 100 up at 35. Then follow the route for Croton Lake with "Jay St Return", which with the exception of a brief stint on 35 (uggh) is scenic and quiet. Climbing on this is not all that bad. There are some sharp points up by the top of Croton Lake, but short. Psalmon says about 2,500 ft of climbing which is only 40 ft/mile - not to bad - good distance, scenery, and time on the bike. Enjoy!
