I helped Brandon map this out. I would say this ride is for new riders. Everyone else will get to the end and come to the same realization we did. It really is that short and flat. Think about it as an intro to body position, really small hill climbs and if you are using clipless peals just know you have with a lot of room for error in this area. There are few jumps to mess around with on the top of the second hill. Watch out for runners!!! They will get out of the way, but be nice. On the Northwest side there were a few bums. We didn’t have any problems, but it might be safer to stay out of the area. Although there were a few fun spots in that area like stairs and cement patch that led to a tight single and it got a little technical for about 25 feet. Pick the right line… If you are new to riding it might be worth it to go and at least look at it. It’s not intimidating at all but just know there is a cactus patch on the other side. This place is not really all that bad but someone just hyped it up for us and was not what we expected. This really is a great place to run or if you have kids bring them out for a walk. There is a more aggressive bike ride at Tecolote Canyon with nature center for the children not to far away. I’m sure there is some Geocache in both places. Just out there and check it out.

i completely agree with rob. however it was still fun to get out and ride as always. but if you are an intermediate to advanced rider looking for some good trails then this is not the place for you.
