Saturday Ride with My Daughter

This past Saturday I did a ride with my 4 year old daughter on the Los Gatos Creek trail . I was riding a mountain bike with my daughter trailing along on her trail a bike. We both really enjoyed the ride. We started at 9am from willow street and rode to our first stop the dog park along the trail in Campbell. My daughter got to play with the doggies in the big and small dog parks!  After this we headed to Vasona Park.  I noticed a number of people on the trail who were walking with Team in Training Shirts to help fight leukemia. At the top of the Dam there was a support table with cups of water. We stopped and chatted with the volunteers and got a couple cups of water. Afterward we headed off further into the park past the train and carousel to the playground. Turns out the train and carousel started up at 11am. We'd definitely be back for a ride. We stopped at the playground where we had a fun time playing on the jet and other play structures. After  1/2 hour we headed for lunch up the trail to the Los Gatos Coffee Roasting Co on main street. To get to main continue on the trail until it becomes a wooden bridge. Ride up the bridge and take the first right off the trail. Go left out of the parking lot and your at main. After lunch we headed back down the trail to the train for a ride on it and the carousel. They are $2 a ride. We raced the train on our bike for 1 lap and then headed on back to willow and home. All and all a fun way to spend a few hours and get in some riding. I'd recommend this trail to anybody.

The pic included is us and our rig on a rain day ride back from daycare.
