Profile

I used to play Rugby as a youth. Never liked running. I could swim and cycle, but never took them up as competitive sports. I spent plenty of time in the gym, but only intermittently. When I set my mind to it I could pick up some pretty heavy weights, and for a while I even enjoyed aerobics!!! One day someone suggested I should have an aim for my fitness, so I entered a duathlon January 2007.... and I didn't stop. Multisports are very addictive. I realise that I will never win a race, so I strive for longer distance. Did my first Ironman in 2008. In 2009 I aim to do a Marathon and 2 more Ironman events, and an Ultra Marathon. Wish me luck, and sponsor me at: www.justgiving.co.uk/julianparsons2009 In aid of: Juvenile Diabetes research Foundation Cheers!!!
